Cloud Concert Youth Orchestra (CCYO) is a non-profit organization founded by the Australia-China Music Communication and Promotion Association in 2020 during Melbourne’s COVID-19 lockdown. The CCYO was founded to support and motivate our young musicians to continue their music journey during the global pandemic, to provide them with a positive environment for them to communicate, and to provide a wealth of opportunities to perform.
In the past three years, CCYO has hosted over 20 online concerts, which successfully ignited a passion for music in our community. Over 100 families have participated in these concerts and performed online for audiences of over 500 people.
Music is the universal language that connects people from different backgrounds, cultures, genders and ages. CCYO was well received by the local communities: many prestigious schools, Melbourne musicians and educators have given us very positive affirmations, and provided endless support to our young musicians both in and out of school. CCYO are committed to fostering a healthy and enjoyable life for the young generation and wish to shape them into capable talents for our community.
